ELECTROTHERAPY'S

H-WAVE
The waveform of H-wave is found naturally within the body. It has analgesic and therapeutic effects depending on the frequency used. H-wave can promote lymphatic drainage (removing fluids that can include pain chemicals, waste cells and toxins), making it useful in treating oedema (swelling).
Mobilisation of groups of muscles, such as over the lumbosacral junction (pelvis), can be achieved through specific electrode placement. This reduces muscle spasm in the area and therefore can reduce pain.
LASER THERAPY
Also known as Photobiomodulation Therapy, LASER increases blood flow, and serotonin to the area it is being used on. This reduces inflammation and has an analgesic effect, therefore, promoting healing and providing pain relief. LASER is often used on joints and trigger points (knots) in muscles and is particularly useful in managing wound healing.
